What is National Seminar?

At National Seminar, you will participate in educational and engaging classes; hear performances by select choirs and ensembles; browse and shop exhibiting partner displays in the Handbell Commons. National Seminar provides the unique opportunity to meet and network with fellow handbell musicians and develop life-long friendships with those that share your enthusiasm and passion for our art.

Classes & Performance Opportunities

Classes at National Seminar cover all aspects of handbell musicianship, whether you are a ringer, director, educator, etc.

Distinctly Teen

July 13-15
For individual ringers in grades 8-12 who wish to stretch their ringing skills and musicianship under the direction of Nick Hanson.

Master Series

July 8-11
One-on-one instruction in a masterclass setting with Dr. William Payn in conducting, Sondra Tucker in composition, and Linda Krantz in solo ringing.

Performances

Hear performances by select choirs and ensembles.

Exhibiting Partners

Visit companies, organizations, and individuals that support handbell musicians in Handbell Commons.

Event Venue

All event activities will take place at the Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas.

Silent Auction

We invite you to donate an item or experience to the Silent Auction at National Seminar. The Silent Auction will be in Handbell Commons (Exhibition Hall B, Irving Convention Center). Learn more HERE.
