Honorary Life Membership Award

From time to time, the Handbell Musicians of America accepts nominations for and grants a special award known as the Honorary Life Membership Award, which is intended to recognize and honor a lifetime commitment to handbells, based on exceptional service to the Guild and to handbell ringing in general. It is reserved for individuals of the highest caliber who have made outstanding contributions to the art of handbell ringing.

We have compiled the following video for you to learn more about all our past honorees, who have all been responsible in big ways for the building and shaping of our organization and the art of handbell/handchime ringing.

New Honorary Life Members Will be Named Friday, July 17.

Please join us Friday, July 17, at 6:30 p.m. EDT on our YouTube Live Channel for Live from National Seminar featuring special recognitions and the naming of our two newest Honorary Life members, followed by a concert experience by soloist Danny Lyons and The Academy Vibrations of Bob Jones University, under the direction of Nancy Tipton.
