Q:  I SIGNED UP FOR A RINGING TRACK. WHEN WILL I GET A FORM TO SHARE MY RINGING POSITION PREFERENCES?

A: Ringing track assignments for the Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced choirs will be sent out starting in May for those who complete their ringing position preference form prior to May. Assignments are determined based on the preference forms, and assigned on a first come, first serve basis based on form submission date.

Q: I signed up for a ringing track. What do I need to bring? 
 
A:The email you receive that includes your ringing assignment will also include the list of items you need to bring. Here is a basic list, but keep an eye out for other items you may need to bring as well:
  • Music (Classes | Handbell Musicians of America National Seminar)
  • Gloves
  • Mallets for your position, if needed
  • Dowels, if needed
  • Writing utensil & eraser
  • Polishing cloth
  • Binder for your music
  • Riser (if you so choose)
  • Comfortable shoes (throw in a carpet square if your feet tend to get tired)
  • Water
Q: I signed up for the All-Star Choir. What do I need to bring? 
A: You will need to bring the following:
  • Concert black attire to wear for the final concert
  • Black gloves
  • Writing utensil & eraser
  • Polishing cloth
  • Binder for your music
  • Comfortable shoes for rehearsals
  • Water
  • Music will be available for purchase from Jeffer’s Handbell Supply at Handbell Commons during the event

 

Q: WHEN CAN I PURCHASE CONCERT TICKETS?

A: National Seminar concerts are being offered complimentary this year, and no tickets are required.

Q: WHEN CAN I CHOOSE MY CLASSES?

A-1: For those who registered by December 31, 2023, class choice opened on February 12.  An email was sent to the address you provided that included instructions on how to choose your classes. If you registered as part of a group, contact your group leader.

A-2: If you registered January 1, 2024, onward, class choices opened yesterday, February 19 at 9:00 AM eastern. An email was sent to the address you provided that included instructions on how to choose your classes.
