All event activities will take place at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch.

Event Rates

We have secured special rates for attendees of National Seminar 2019.

Single/Double Standard Rooms (up to 2 guests) $150/night plus tax (currently 16.929%). Additional guests charged at $25 additional per guest per night.

All rates include in-room internet access. Rates will be offered 3 days before and 3 days after the event dates, based on availability.

Hotel Surcharge

To ensure that we are able to meet the room block required by the Hyatt Regency, registrants who opt for alternate lodging are required to pay an additional surcharge of $150.00. This surcharge does not apply to registrants with a home address within a 60-mile driving radius of the event site. Lodging requirements will be confirmed using a rooming list of reservations provided by the Hyatt Regency.

IMPORTANT HOTEL UPDATE

The Hyatt Regency is unable to provide rooms at our discounted rate for the dates preceding our event.  The rate is available beginning July 16.  For those planning to arrive on July 15, we have secured a secondary block for just that evening at the Embassy Suites St. Louis Airport.

Rate for July 15

We’ve secured a rate of $139 for a King room and $149 for a double room with two queen beds.  Your rate includes a cooked-to-order breakfast and evening reception with appetizers and beverages. The rate is available until June 24, based on availability.

Transportation

For those flying in to St. Louis, there are several transportation options from the St. Louis Lambert International Airport including ride share services and the MetroLink Light Rail. The MetroLink is your most economical option and will bring to within 6 blocks of the hotel.

Use of Tablets to Hold Music

Handbell Musicians of America is committed to upholding the copyright laws of the United States and protecting the rights of our publishers, arrangers and composers.  If you wish to use a tablet computer to hold your music in place of standard paper copies on a music stand, you must contact the publisher of each piece of music to first obtain permission to convert a purchased piece of music to the format required for the tablet you are using.  Copies of the written permission received from publishers must be presented on request from the event organizer, event chair, or Handbell Musicians of America staff. Permission from a publisher for one piece does not imply permission for other songs from the same publisher.  The title of each song used in this format must be included in the written permission received. Attendee should also have legally purchased copies of all music with them for verification.
